Machine tool organisations from around the globe descended on the Chinese capital with over 1500 exhibitors coming from 28 countries to present the latest developments and innovations available in the precision machining market. Current levels of growth in the Chinese economy and in particular the booming manufacturing sector have made this event a must-attend for the leading global precision component and machine tool manufactures.

PTG Heavy Industries has established strong connections with the China Friction Stir Welding Center (CFSWC) and is a preferred supplier to the Chinese high speed rail industry. Through collaboration with the CFSWC, PTG was involved in a joint venture to supply a Powerstir Friction Stir Welding Machine capable of welding 30 metre rail carriage panels used by China’s growing high speed rail network.

PTG Heavy Industries would like to thank the CIMT for organising another excellent exhibition and we look forward to developing stronger links with Chinese companies in the future.
