PPM Contracts

Potential problems with machines are identified and resolved before they incur downtime; ensuring accuracy, productivity, profitability and longevity are maximised.

We have developed Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems recognised as industry standards, ensuring that potential problems with machines are identified and resolved before they incur downtime. Developed working with some of the UK's large companies, the process involves the ongoing servicing of machines, laser calibration and the provision of condition reports identifying possible repairs required before they result in breakdown.

Large machines will often run with small problems but these may turn in to bigger ones and then cause breakdowns with knock-on production consequences. Continuous production processes such as steel / aluminum producers may have costs per hour of £30,000 to £80,000. Not being able to service the production line due to a supporting machine outage can be critical.

Using the latest diagnostic tools available within the industry we offer remote PC monitoring and support, laser calibration, ballbar checks and calibration of drives, motors and servo systems.

PPM is critical in continuous production environments. A planned outage ensures machines are serviced and items requiring future attention are scheduled so as not to affect mainstream production in turn guaranteeing machine uptime. PPM sites receive 24/7/365 and a guaranteed response time.
