Holroyd helical production centres are used throughout the world to supply parts to the oil and gas industries. The equipment can accept components that have to be manufactured in a variety of steels and other materials to suit the arduous environments that the parts have to operate in.
Oil and gas is perhaps the one sector that utilises the smallest to the largest rotors ever made on our production equipment:
- 20mm diameter rotors for dispensing fuel
- 900 mm diameter rotors for movement of bulk gas
Our milling machines can be suitable for both rough and finish milling using carbide and HSS cutters where grinding is not feasible due to the size requirements.
The 8EX milling machine is one of the world's largest production helical milling centres in the world and was designed to accommodate parts in excess of 6 tonnes in weight.
