Graduate Software Engineer – Holroyd Precision

As a member of our highly talented software team, you will be involved in the prototype software development for new machines and processes using C, C++, C# and WinCC. You’ll create feature-rich HMI software, be involved in software testing – and support legacy software code and applications.

Production Engineer – Holroyd Precision Components
As a world-leader in the design, manufacture and supply of high-precision compressor rotors and other helical components, Holroyd Precision Components requires a highly experienced Production Engineer. Passionate about quality and committed to further improving the manufacturing processes at our facilities in the UK, USA and China, the successful applicant will have substantial experience of milling, turning and precision grinding (metal cutting). Ensuring production delivery deadlines are met, writing machine programmes, identifying tooling requirements, and leading feasibility reviews into new manufacturing challenges will also be key requirements of the role. You will also be prepared to travel overseas as required.
Control System Software Engineer – Holroyd Precision
Our world-class rotor milling, rotor grinding and friction stir welding machines simplify the most complex manufacturing processes. Joining us as a Control System Software Engineer, you will write, maintain, commission and test our machine control software. Although you’ll work primarily with Siemens 840D CNC, it is essential that you are also fluent in Siemens S7, TIA, Safety and WinCC, and are able to support Bosch Indramat, Fanuc and our in-house controls, as well as legacy machines. Involved in process design, risk assessment and creating functional specifications, you will provide technical support and carry out machine commissioning. You will also be prepared to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
Senior Quality Engineer – Holroyd Precision
Across the world, we are renowned for uncompromising quality. As Holroyd Precision’s Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of and revisions to the Quality Management System. Reporting to the Group Quality H&S Manager, you will work with directors, site managers, engineers, manufacturing staff, customers and suppliers to make sure KPIs and objectives are met. You’ll ensure compliance by others, be responsible for monitoring supplier performance and agreements, and implementing improvement programmes. Responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001 accreditation for Holroyd Precision Ltd, you will also assist with Health & Safety compliance. To be considered for this highly responsible role, you will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience of working in heavy machinery manufacturing. Degree qualified, you will have a full understanding of ISO 9001 requirements. Familiar with Continuous Improvement tools and techniques, you will deliver the Quality Management plan without supervision. An excellent communicator and computer literate, you will also have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements for a manufacturing business.
